How to use categories in tasks

Tasks in Izzyplan can be categorized. Categories typify tasks and can be measured in indicators on dashboards. This field is required when creating tasks.

Creating and editing categories

To edit and create categories, you must be an Account Administrator.

Access the "Configuration" menu and then click on "Categories"


Colors

Choose an accent color for this category, this will make it easier to identify categorized tasks. These colors will also be applied to the dashboard charts.

days to complete

If filled in, you are defining that all tasks that are in this category will have their deadlines automatically filled in as soon as they are started. For example, if you fill in 5 in this field, if a task starts on day 01, the "Deadline" field will be filled with the date on day "06".

Standard

If checked, this category will be used by default for all new tasks created.

Model

In this field it is possible to define a template text that will be filled in the "Description" of the new tasks created in this category. To not use a default template, leave this field empty.
